Welcome to MED ZIP UP!

If you would like to take charge of your health and well-being and improve your life, MED ZIP UP in Baltimore specializes in the design and production of medical clothing for you. See what MED ZIP UP and our experienced team can do for you.

Med Zip Up is a SDVOSB (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business) a Maryland Corporation, actually started in 2008 and here to serve the medical needs of those whose lives require invasive, ongoing medical treatments. Our background is in clothing manufacturing and with this experience we look at practical ways to better serve the medical community. Envision a cost effective way to improve administration of uncomfortable medical treatment. These garments are used for Chemotherapy and Dialysis administration and with the use of the zipper that is double ended allows for access to the portal in the chest, example the Hickman Catheter, or to the arm for a fistula.

These garments can be used to define your organization’s message through printing or embroidery.

Despite today’s extensive efforts to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria, Healthcare Acquired Infections (HAI) continue to be one of the world’s most pressing and expensive healthcare problems. Our garments are made from a treated antimicrobial fiber to help prevent infections and lasts for a minimum of 50 washings. Effective HAI reduction means incorporating soft surface management into an overall bacteria

reduction strategy. Infection prevention policies do not address the most prevalent and overlooked component of the health care environment – Soft Surfaces. Med Zip Up develops solutions through design and produces specialty garments for use by patients during their various medical treatments. These garments offer the patient Privacy of getting dressed in their own home as an alternative to getting undressed for the treatment while making a practical solution for administration of treatment.

There is nothing like it on the market today and we have a patent pending also willing to share that information with you.

It is our goal to make sure you feel your best and stay that way. You can count on our many years of experience, our highly trained team of solution professionals, and exquisite professional service.

Here are some of the reasons that set us apart:

  • Advantage 1 The best quality at the best price
  • Advantage 2 custom design printing and embroidering for your adv4rertising needs
  • Advantage 3 ability to deliver on time anywhere in the world
  • Advantage 4 a treated antimicrobial fiber to help prevent infections while making administration of the treatment easier.

Our garments aid in the administration of treatment for those patients who are at the highest risk for getting healthcare associated infections. The delivery of chemotherapy and the dialysis treatments with the use of our shirts benefits the patient as well as the administration. Envision a cost effective way to improve administration of uncomfortable medical treatment.

The patient is directed to launder the garment before and after each treatment to reduce the risk of infection. Laundering alone is not enough to prevent infection. Med Zip Up uses antimicrobial technology to keep fabric fresh between launderings with its long-lasting protection inhibiting bacteria and fungus. Our use of antimicrobial treated fabrics will also reduce the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections.
